I've had these shoes for three weeks now and I really dig them. I wear them constantly around the house like a jackass. At first my excuse was that I was breaking them in, but now I'm out if excuses as to why I wear them indoors. I just like to walear them. They look sleek and fit my feet like a condom.I've become obsessed with their appearance, watching shoe care tutorials on YouTube. And I've spent an embarrassing amount of time polishing these bad boys with a masterbatory obsession. A couple weeks ago I slipped on the ice and as I was catching my footing I marred the tip of my left shoe. I was devastated. But, a bit if polish, refine grit sandpaper, and an episode of The Crown later, they are back to 80%.Forewarning, much like owning a classic car you must be willing to turn a wrench, the same goes with leather shoes, you must be into maintenance. But, much like raising a child, the effort is what makes the experience so satisfying. Sure, I've own many bastard leather shoes in my past that I was too young to care for, but I'm looking down the path towards the future and couldn't imagine better company than these leather shoes.
