I bought these for my boyfriend who does asphalt work for the union. He loves these boots. They dont get ruined by asphalt. He says they're very comfortable and warm. And I love that they dont tract so much dirt. They were a bit on the expensive side but so far theyre worth it.Que es durable y no se queman los piesThese boots are light weight and moderately durable. They last me 8-12 weeks on average before the soles develop tears. The boots are large so I would recommend ordering 1 size smaller than you wear. The laces are probably there weakest part. Make sure you have replacement laces with you because they are going to break. Other than that for the money they are a good buy. I have been using them for 8 years and I usually go through 3 pairs a year.Cofra are the only boots I've been using for paving work, for the last 5 years. Unfortunately my last two pair did not last as long as the previous 3 pair. I had been getting about a year of use from these boots, which if your in the paving Industry and spend a significant amount of time on hot asphalt, is pretty good. Recently, though, the two pair before these only lasted about 5 months, at best. The soles began to peel away.I figured I'd give them one more try, before I condemn the product though, bc they had been working out so well for me previously. I will update on how long this most recent pair last; although with paving season, here in PA nearu g its end, my update will likely not occur until Spring of 2020.Update: This pair lasted me until October of this year (2020). My faith has been renewed.I've worn Redwing boots for 25 years but they can't handle the heat of laying fresh asphalt. I thought I would try these. The price is right. I've stood in 300 degree asphalt for the last three months and so far I've seen no ill affects to these boots. There a little stiff at first to break in but are comfortable now. My feet do stay cooler than in other boots. They do run large. I usually wear a 10 1/2 , I ordered a 9 1/2. They're still a little loose. If I have to order another pair I'll drop down to a 9.They run a little big in size but when you have the correct size then you’re set. Cheap, comfortable, light, and very durable considering they last longer than redwings and cost less than half the price. They can last about a season and a half and that’s considering being in mix half the time, covered in concrete, then mix again. The only asphalt boot I will continue to buy.I work with asphalt, the one thing I could suggest is getting some soles for the inner boot since it's basically flat and using custom fit helps with standing for long timesI am on my 4tb Pair. My boots go through a lot of abuse, but they typically last 1 year for me when compared to other brands that last 5 months with how I walk. My boss now pays for these boots for me since he considers them an extension of my job with the compactor. The composite toe meets certain job sites hard toe rules. When doing patches out of our single axle dump truck, the boots do an excellent job insulating my feet. Shoe laces are very durable, but I personally have to replace them about 9 months in. If you work with asphalt, these are the boots you want!I like this safety boots is good for paving workI did my season without any problems only 1 lacer broke at the end of the season !BEST BOOTS EVER!Pretty good, laces brake shortly after use but still a good boot.Pour la construction domaine de asphalte
